We are a family owned and operated business.
Our main goal is to satisfy our customers as we would our family.
When it comes to insurance, who you do business with is as important
as the coverage and rates. We are a full service agency that was established
in 1981. Our number one priority, again, is to service our policy holders. We screen our
companies very carefully before we put them into use. We make sure they are financially secure
and as committed as we are in providing customer satisfaction. Every company we represent
has been in business for at least thirty years and has a reputation for service
and stability. We, as our companies, are always looking to serve you
better. We are always open for suggestions.
MORE ABOUT KAY: THE OWNER:
Kay was born in Kilgore, Texas and traveled throughout the country with her parents and her two younger
brothers. They setteled in Wisconsin where she raised two wonderful children. They moved to Houston, Texas
in 1985. She at that point began working in the insurance field. She started out as a secretary and came to manage Advantage Insurnace Agency in 1992. She bought out this location in 2000 and is enjoying the expirence greatly.
MORE ABOUT JENNIFER: THE MANAGER:
Jennifer is the daughter of Kay. She was born in Beloit, Wisconsin. She came to Houston, Texas in 1985 with her parents and lived there until she was 14. She, along with her parents, moved back to Kilgore, Texas in 1992. She was a student at that time and finished out her high school years at Sabine High School. She graduated in 1996 and was to set off for college that fall. Something was telling her to wait a year. Well, in September of 1996 she was hired at Advantage Insurnace Agency as a temporary helper and has been here ever since then. She enjoys her work very much and she puts all of her effort into everything she does.
MORE ABOUT MIKE: CSR:
Mike is the son of Kay and is a very talented young man. He, as Kay and Jennifer, had traveled from Wisconsin to Houston and then to Kilgore. When Steve Traylor first opened Advantage Insurance Agency Mike was his very first customer. Mike told Mr. Traylor about his mother that had worked in the insurnace field in Houston and Mr. Traylor sounded very interested and requested that Mike have her come over. She did so and Mr. Traylor hired her on the spot.

The rose is in remembrance of BIlly J. Smallwood.
